Sean and Becky honeymooned on Maui 10 years ago, so it was the perfect place to come to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary! This adorable couple had so much fun exploring the beach and getting a little wet in the HUGE waves. This beach doesn’t normally have such big waves, but a winter swell brought in epic size waves and photographers and surfers everywhere rejoiced!

Olsen Family Reunion Portraits by Maui Photographer Karma Hill

The whole family was together in Hawaii for the third time so what better opportunity is there for some family portraits! There were 21 people in attendance and we got portraits of the entire group and all the individual families and kids as well! Leanne & Brent’s Maui Beach Wedding – by Karma Hill

Leanne and Brent and nearly 30 of their closest friends and family celebrated their wedding on the shores of DT Fleming Beach. Leanne loved the far south end of the beach with the dramatic rocks and it was the perfect place for a beautiful intimate ceremony! This Montana couple chose a destination wedding at the perfect time of year when it was literally freezing back home. The warm breezes and soft pastel sunset set the scene for a beautiful start of their married life together. After the ceremony the group went back the the Hyatt where a beautiful reception was waiting on them complete with gorgeous flower centerpieces and a towering cake. Welcome Back Burnett Ohana! – Maui Family Portraits by Karma Hill

What a difference two years makes!! The last time I saw the Burnett family, they were a family of 4 and their youngest son wasn’t even walking. Two years later, they are a family of 5 and the kids have grown so much!! One thing is the same, however, how much this little family adores each other and has such a fun time together. Together with grandpa, they had an awesome time running, playing snuggling, jumping and even some fully clothed swimming! I just love the fact that even though most of my clients to do not live on Maui, I still get to see a lot of clients back every couple of years! Kim & Scott’s Blissful Maui Wedding – by Karma Hill Photography

We were so honored to be a part of Kim & Scott’s wedding last weekend! They were one of the sweetest couples that we have had the chance to work with! Every moment with them was so fun, relaxed, and of course beautiful! Not to mention they had a couple of the best wedding planners that Maui has to offer! Bliss Wedding Design as Spectacular Events sure outdid themselves on this one! Darren & Shane with Bliss Maui created an epic night for Kim & Scott and their closest friends and family! We began the evening with getting ready coverage at the Kukahiko Estate in Makena. This gorgeous property overlooks the ocean and offers so many backdrops for pictures. The estate was adorned with brand new furniture and decor, and a one of kind chuppah designed by Darren. Kim & Scott were married by a very close friend and he was quite the entertainment. A Winter’s Morning – Maui Family Portraits by Karma Hill

We had a little Maui winter weather for the Fritz family portraits. A bit of wind and clouds didn’t stop us however, the water was still aqua and the light was still beautiful! This fun family had two teenagers who were not SUPER excited to be forced to wake up early for portraits, but by the end of the shoot the entire family was having fun splashing in the water! This cute family was visiting Maui from Canada to celebrate mom and dad’s 20th wedding anniversary and to enjoy a relaxing warm family vacation away from the cold back home. I was so happy to be a part of the celebration and I had a great time with them.

Maui Senior and Family Portraits! The Zimmerer Family by Karma Hill

I adored this sweet family! Their youngest is graduating high school and what better time to get some senior portraits than while in Maui! We started with a couple of bestie pics, then went into capturing the beautiful Natalie’s portraits. I loved the floral crown they brought and all her fun outfits, there was plenty of inspiration for me and with the wind blowing at just the right angle, sometimes I felt like we were at a fashion shoot! At the very end of the session we also captured the entire family together on the beach, it was a perfect way to end the shoot, now they will all have some photos to commemorate their time in Maui! Maui Family Portraits on The Beach! With the McClanahan Family!

The McClanahan was visiting Maui all the way from Louisiana! They were referred to us by the concierge at their hotel and I am so glad they sent this fun family my way! We had a portrait session on a bright and sunny morning at Southside beach. I just adore their older grandsons missing teeth in the photos, it is so cute and such a right of passage. I also loved getting to spend time with the precious four month old and capture his sweet face and little tiny hands. Alicia’s Gorgeous Hawaiian Senior Portrait – by Karma Hill Photography

We met Alicia last week for her tropical Hawaiian senior portrait! This isn’t her first senior portrait, but we’d like to think it’s the best! Alicia got the best of both worlds being lucky enough to take portraits with a snowy cold backdrop as well as a warm tropical backdrop. 10 Happy Years! Lexy & Arend’s Anniversary Portraits – by Karma Hill

Lexy and Arend were married ten years ago and to celebrate, they booked a special trip to Maui to spend some time quiet time together! They never had professional photos of their wedding, so they figured this trip would also be a great opportunity to get some epic photos of them together. They were right! Baldwin beach in the morning was amazing, the mountains were clear and the sky was blue and the beach was almost empty! Arend grew up in the Hawaii and still has family here, so I think Maui went all out to welcome him back home. I had so much fun with this adorable and kind hearted couple and I am SO glad I was the one who got to document their special trip.
