Maui Trash the Dress Photo Shoot {Karma Hill Photography}

Stephanie and Ahmad are the type of couple that likes to live life to the fullest. After their intimate Maui wedding they chose to do a Trash the Dress shoot because, as Stephanie says, “you spend all this time and money picking out THE wedding dress of your dreams and then when the moment is over your dress gets to spend forever in a box. Why not get some once-in-a-lifetime pictures of you and your husband?”

Family Fun in the Sun – The Liu’s Maui Family Portraits

It was so much fun meeting the adorable Liu Family at DT Fleming Beach for their Maui Family Portraits. First of all, it couldn’t have been more convenient for them as it was a short walk downstairs from their room at The Ritz. We love this beach! The long, sprawling stretch of sand just begs for a stroll among the waves. Plus, the shoreline’s interesting profile, the natural variety of foliage all around, and the gorgeous display of Earth tones all around make for a picture perfect setting…pun intended! Secondly, check out these brothers. Could they be any cuter together? Sporting their Japanese based clothing line, Bathing Ape, these two spirited little boys are a hoot with one another. Siblings are the best. No one will ever really “get” you the way your sibling does. As they grow up together, they will see the best and worst of each other and the love will never waiver. Sure, they’ll fight, but the bond will remain intact. Seeing them together, it’s clear these active little guy

Joy on a Perfect Day – The Welch’s Maui Vacation Portraits

It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day life. We are focused on responsibilities and to-do lists and raising our kids. We are tired and the days seem to run out of hours before we’ve even had a chance to clean up the breakfast dishes. That’s precisely why vacations are so important. It’s an opportunity to slow down, relax, and really connect with the ones you love. Don’t get me wrong, when you’re a parent, you’re never off the clock. You don’t get to miraculously feel 10 years younger (ie. that person you were before 3am feedings, teething, tantrums, ear infections, and basically being the sole source of all light and goodness to another human being – no pressure). But vacation means getting to take that moment to just…be…as a family. When you have no where you have to be and nothing that must be done, it’s amazing what you experience. For the Welch Family, their first trip as a family of four was not only the perfect chance to re-charge and come together as a family, but

A Search for Sunshine – Maui Family Portrait with the Dent Family!

The sweet Dent family came all the way from Washington in search for sunshine for their Maui family portraits! As if that wasn’t far enough they then travelled from the west side of the island to Mama’s Fish House beach in their quest. It turned out to be a somewhat overcast day but the clouds and colors in the sky matched their perfectly coordinated pastel colored outfits anyway. The smiles on their faces lit up the pictures as much as we needed to create beautiful family portraits for them. Mahalo Dent family for choosing Karma Hill Photography for your Maui portraits! It was a pleasure meeting you and we hope to see you again in Maui soon!Maui Photographer: Cheynice of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Mama’s Fish House BeachTime of Day: SunsetCheck out our last Maui family portrait with the Brennan family!

Frozen In Time – Amanda & Greg’s Maui Honeymoon Portrait

On a dreamy evening on a South shore, we had the distinct pleasure of helping Amanda and Greg capture their Maui Honeymoon Portraits. What an amazing time in this adorable couple’s life. The pressure and stress of the wedding is done, the future stretching out ahead of them. For those few precious days on a honeymoon, everything else fades away, almost as if time stands still. When you see these two together, the connection between them is nearly tangible. It’s evident through the stolen glances, simple touches, and beaming smiles. The Mid-Western winter waiting for them back home doesn’t stand a chance against the warmth radiating from these loving newlyweds. Congratulations you two. We wish you all the best that life has to offer. May these photos forever be a visual reminder of the love you feel for one another at this stage in your journey. Love Is The Reason – The Brennan’s Maui Family Portraits

You don’t need a special occasion to document sweet moments with loved ones. The Brennan Family knows that precious moments with the people we love is reason enough to celebrate. They traveled from the Pacific Northwest for a little relaxation and decided to take the opportunity for Maui Family Portraits. They were treated to a stunning morning on Lahaina’s Baby Beach. We love this spot for its calm clear water and breathtaking views of our neighboring islands. The clear skies and beaming smiles don’t hurt either! We loved spending time with this charming family and especially love how close they obviously are. To the Brennan Family, thank you for thinking of Karma Hill Photography to capture your fun filled family vacation. Until next time!
