As the kids grow, so does the desire to capture the beautiful moments that transpire in the blink of an eye. The sweet smiles, the charming giggles, the eye roll inspiring antics. They all become memories to cherish and we were so glad to capture some for the Burnett Family. Returning from Fairbanks, Alaska, it was so much fun to see how the kids have changed in the last year. One thing that remains the same is the love so obviously shared between these five fabulous family members. We had such a good time hanging out with them and capturing their Maui Family Portraits again. On the cusp of building a beautiful family together, Denmark’s Camilla and Lasse took some time for themselves on our golden shores. Wanting to celebrate with a private Maui Elopement, they were all smiles and sheer joy as they joined hands and hearts and took the next steps in to their new life together. Blessed with a stunning evening, Southside Beach was like a dream unfolding around them. Soft, ethereal light. Lush landscape. Dancing sea. As the sun rose to begin a new day, the Maui Engagement Portrait session began for the adorable duo of Heather and Brendan. Ditching the cold Alberta winter for some fun and romance in the sun, the newly betrothed pair were all smiles as they reveled in the warmth of the day. Having enjoyed a holiday engagement, the excitement is still fresh in their hearts as they prepare for the next big step in their lives. After three years together, they are sure of one thing. Looking exquisite beside the sparkling sea, Amy joined hands with John as they prepared for their Maui Elopement. Preferring to avoid the stress and pressure of a large event, they chose to leave Ohio behind for a few days and instead enjoy an intimate celebration for two. With the sounds of the ukulele dancing on the breeze, they exchanged tears and vows as they took the next steps into their future. Rounding out their phenomenal wedding collection, they opted to have a ‘Trash the Dress’ session the morning after their wedding to take advantage of the bright blues present first thing in the morning. While this bride and groom are stunning, it’s the love in their eyes that’s most beautiful of all and we are so honored we got to capture it. When you’re going to be in paradise anyways, why not take advantage of the superb setting? Bailing on the Indiana winter for a little while, Miranda and Andrew decided an intimate wedding in Makena Cove had their names all over it. Mesmerized by the sights on this, their first visit to the island, the adorable duo were all smiles on the day they became husband and wife. With the morning shining bright, it was a forecast of the incredible adventure that lay ahead and we couldn’t think of a better team to set out together. The easy laughter and obvious sense of humor was on point with this pair of lovebirds. Before heading to Hong Kong for their honeymoon, Mandy and Raymond gathered on the beautiful Kapalua shore to enjoy their Maui Elopement. Thrilled to escape the Canadian cold, the Hawaiian sun warmed them to the soul as they took the next step into their future. Ironwoods Beach provided a stunning scene as the waves tossed themselves towards the coast. The lush landscape and soft cloud cover made for an ethereal look that we absolutely love!!! Time flies when you’re having fun! That’s exactly what happened to our team when capturing the Maui Family Beach Portraits for the Chee Family. They were so much fun!!! Easily photographed, and needing such little guidance, we were able to move from spot to spot and grab a variety of backdrops on the fabulous DT Fleming Beach. In town to celebrate Maddy’s 9th birthday, she and brother Matthew were good as gold as the played and laughed along the shore. Such great kids!!! Honestly, we cannot say enough great things about this amazing California quartet. The smiles were endless on the perfect Kapalua morning as the waves danced in the distance. As a fabulous Christmas gift for their amazing dad and step mom, Brit and Christina were so excited to arrange a Maui Family Portrait for their troop. Escaping the winter back home, they reveled in the warmth and beauty of their first time on island. Loving the landscape, and the bonding time with the newest family member, the Hayford Family was all smiles as they played, walked, and laughed along the golden shore. With Kanaha Beach preening around them, the soft cloud cover made for a dreamy scene and no sun-blinding moments. It was an amazing day and we are so glad they were able to enjoy it with us. It’s amazing how time flies. We had the pleasure of meeting this cute couple from the Gregoroski Family in 2009 for their engagement photos. Now, flash forward to present day and we find the lovebirds still head over heels, and now happily married. Having added two adorable little girls, their lives are so full of joy and laughter these days. It was hard to imagine them happier than the last time we saw them, on the cusp of the next chapter in their life. We stand corrected. This is what pure bliss looks like. Playing along the golden shore of Southside Beach, the darling quartet were all smiles as we captured the Maui Family Portraits that would forever freeze this moment in time.
