Sometimes a client comes along that I just can’t get enough of. Thankfully, they seem okay with it! I was thrilled to welcome back the Reising Family for their 6th session with me!!! Wow! I love it! Henry was just a baby when we first met them and Lily and Teddy were still a sparkle in their mom’s eye. I am honored to see these sweet people grow up and and I am so grateful they keeping choosing Karma Hill Photography for their Maui Family Portraits. Baby Blues by the Sea – The Roberts’ Maui Family Portrait

When you travel from afar for a well deserved vacation, it’s hard to pick a favorite activity. While we like to think that a Maui Family Portrait is the top of the list, there’s a certain active little four year old that has other ideas. For Jon, going on the big brown submarine was about as cool as it gets, how does one compete with that? ;o) Well, we might not be as amazing but we happened to love the Roberts family and think they couldn’t be any sweeter. Seaside Lullaby – The Tan’s Maui Family Portraits

When it comes to our children, it can feel like they grow up in the blink of an eye. For this reason, it’s so important to capture as much as you can before the moment becomes a memory in the mind’s eye. The Tan family had this very idea. For their stunning daughters’ first vacation, they wanted to document this epic adventure with Maui Family Portraits. As it was their first trip to the beach, the adorable twins were simultaneously enthralled and soothed by the sounds of the sea. With the fresh air gently caressing their cheeks, the little dynamic duo even caught a few Z’s here and there. As every parent of an infant can attest, when the baby is asleep, leave them be! It just makes for more precious moments anyway! Between the doting dads and the precious pair they so obviously love to the moon and back, this cute family from Singapore was a dream to work with. On a perfect Hawaiian day, we were so excited to welcome the Coogans for their Maui Family Portrait. After making the trip across the pond from Washington State, this fun family was in town for a little R & R and family bonding time. Southside Beach, one of our favorite spots, treated our new friends well. With the sun shining bright, the waves lapping on to shore, and the clouds drifting about to add a little interest on the horizon, the Coogans couldn’t have asked for better. The Magic of a Happy Marriage – Christine & Mark’s Maui Couples Portraits

Sunshine at the Seashore – The Chhay’s Maui Family Portraits

Under a bright blue sky, with the sun shining upon their faces, the Chhay Family strolled along the pristine Baldwin beach. This adventurous couple has had many amazing experiences throughout their travels all over, including helicoptering in to their wedding site atop a mountain in New Zealand. Despite all they’ve seen, perhaps one of the most precious times will be this one, when their perfect son met the ocean for the first time. What a cutie! Five and a half month old Connor is a happy little guy, especially when his mom’s lovely voice treats him to the song ‘You Are My Sunshine.’ As their anniversary approaches in a few weeks, this adorable family enjoyed their inaugural trip to Hawaii as a celebration. Family Fun Time – The Laskis’ Maui Family Portrait

On a perfect Hawaiian day, with the breeze kissing their cheeks, the Laskis family enjoyed their Maui Family Portrait. What a pleasure to have these various family groups come together for one big gathering. With four little kids the same age growing up right by one another, they are more like siblings than cousins. How wonderful! One would wonder if the dynamics will change as an additional baby boy will soon be joining the crew, shifting the 50/50 balance that exists now. Those are some tough girls though, they’ll stand their ground again the boys! Proud grandparents, Lou & Cindy, were ecstatic to have a big fun filled family vacation with all their kids, their spouses, and grand kids. Hearts-A-Glow – Caitlin & Justin’s Maui Wedding

On a romantic, soft lit night, Caitlin & Justin joined together on a West Maui beach for their beautiful elopement. We had the absolute pleasure of working with this Canadian couple as their Maui Wedding Photographer. They are an energetic and hilarious pair that brightens their surroundings. Sometimes literally. When they met, Caitlin offered Justin a glow stick as a ploy to talk to him and she’s been lighting up his life ever since. Five years later and they exchanged vows before the restless sea, promising their love one to one another for the rest of their lives. We absolutely adore these two and we can’t wait to welcome them back for a visit again one day. New Bonds Begin – Rebecca & Bryan’s Maui Elopement

Love, and life, is a precious gift.With that sentiment in mind, Rebecca and Bryan chose to keep their wedding day simple and avoid all the stress. For them, it was about coming together as a family with Rebecca’s two young boys. During their Maui Elopement, they decided to forego having an officiant and instead spoke from their hearts to create a completely custom ceremony for themselves. Bryan and the boys each presented Rebecca with a band to accompany her engagement ring so that they are all represented. It was a stunning night on Ironwoods Beach and will certainly be a cherished memory for this wonderful Washington family. We want to thank Rebecca and Bryan for allowing Karma Hill Photography to be a part of this momentous time in their lives.
