I had a fun evening with Morgan and her mom, we explored the beautiful Fairmont Kea Lani where they were staying and included their beautiful architecture and lush tropical grounds in Morgan’s senior Portraits, we then drove to Makena Big beach and had fun splashing in the water and enjoying the beautiful sunset! It was Morgan’s idea to have her senior portraits taken in Maui when she learned about her family trip here, what a smart girl! She now has the most unique senior portraits in Illinois! Kamaaina Fun with the Voelker Family and Friends! – Maui Family Portraits by Karma Hill

When you live in Hawaii, you are known as Kamaaina, the bulk of my clients are visitors, but every so often, I am lucky to work with Maui residents and the Voelker family is one of my favorites! This year the Voelkers brought along their business partner and her family to double duty some business portraits as well as family portraits, so we had fun mixing it up a bit. After the portrait session was done, the kids put on their swimsuits and jumped in the water for some floatie fun with mom and dad.

A Lovely Maui Elopement! – Kim & Bihn’s Maui Wedding by Karma Hill

There are so many weddings I haven’t posted on this blog because I already posted them on our sister company’s blog ( blog.simplemauiwedding.net )    and well, I can’t stand doing the same thing twice! I just had to share Kim and Bihn’s wedding here too, they were too much fun. The couple just radiated love, joy and excitement and I think it really shows in their photos. This adorable couple eloped to Maui and were having the time of their lives! They said “I do” with their toes in the sand during a beautiful and intimate ceremony performed by reverend Joe Miles. We had a great time taking photos after the ceremony and I was very impressed with Kim, who was able to carry Bihn for a photo, she credits their Cross-fit addiction LOL.  Congrats to you both and thank you for choosing Simple Maui Wedding!!
