Under the cover of an overcast sky, the Xu Family rallied on a Southern shore for their Maui Family Portrait. With so much to celebrate, there was no shortage of smile inspiration. Between an anniversary, a birthday, and some good old fashioned grandma bonding time, the love and laughter was out in full force. The Bay area beauties got to enjoy one another’s company while leaving the real world behind for a few days. As the sea danced beside them, they could stroll the beach with sand on their toes and a breeze on their face. What an incredible experience for an awesome family to share. Thank you, Xu Family, for letting our team capture the happiness in your hearts. Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, and Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Kyra of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Southside BeachTime of Day: SunsetCheck out our last Maui family portrait with the Klopfer Family!
Visiting from Texas, the Cate Family was on cloud nine as they strolled along the sandy shore of Baby Beach. While their precious 19 month old, Jordan, is providing endless entertainment, this fabulous Texas trio is preparing to become a foursome. With the arrival of Baby C expected in the Spring, they are reveling in the time they have time to celebrate this new adventure that awaits. There’s certainly no shortage of love or laughter as these three were clearly having a ball together. Blessed with a pastel blue morning, we hope this amazing family comes to cherish these images as much as much as they will this time in their life. It was a pleasure to capture this wonderful moment. Thank you, Cate Family, for choosing Karma Hill Photography for your Maui Family Portrait. Congratulations on your new addition and Best Wishes as a family of four! I LOVE doing these magic of childhood shoots! Little Evelyn and I share a passion for Disney and in particular the movie Moana. What better place than Maui to do a Moana themed photoshoot! We were just missing Maui as her dad decided he didn’t want to get that many Tattoos! LOL Little Hina the pig who is a family pet of a local family showed up as Pua and a squeezable Hei Hei made the magic complete. After we had fun seeing how far we could go with the Moana theme ( pun intended ) we switched gears and went full on beach princess! The team at Dellables created a beautiful floral swing for Evelyn to sit on and also made for a cute back drop for mom and dad to sneak a few couples photos in!Then we moved on to our beach fort fit for a princess complete with lace and shells.
It’s gorgeous evenings and beautiful families like these that make us love our jobs so much! The Corrigan family was such a joy to work with and combined with perfect lighting and the Hawaiian ocean they had a spectacular Maui sunset photo shoot. Their sweet daughter Mimi loved one of our Magic of Childhood portraits from a while back so we recreated a couple starfish shots for her as she laid in the sand. They turned out super adorable just like Mimi! It was a pleasure working with you Corrigan family! We hope to see you again in Maui soon!Maui Family Photographer: Ajja of

Welcome back, Miranda Family!!! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family back in 2009 when they were stationed on Oahu. Now residing in Texas, I was so excited to see their return to the Magic Isle for a little R&R. What a joy it is to see the kids growing up! We had a blast trying to capture some of the magic and look of that past session but we also got to save a new memory with a three generation photo of the lovely ladies with Grandma. I cannot say enough about how sweet these beaming people are. I love when clients return but I especially love it when they are as kind and caring as this family is. Thank you, Miranda Family! Not only for giving me the honor of capturing your Maui Family Portrait again but, also, for your service to our country. Thank you!!!Looking forward to next time!!! Until then, Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Karma of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Southside BeachTime of Day: MorningCheck out the Brossier’s Maui Family Portrai
With a bright blue sky to compliment their beaming smiles, the Kunkle Family was a blast to work with for their Maui Family Portrait. In town to celebrate a multitude of accomplishments and milestones, they certainly had reason to be smiling. First off, with mom and dad celebrating 30 years of wedded bliss, the kids have quite the role models to look up to. For Kiersten, this week was her chance to celebrate her 23rd birthday and recent college graduation. That’s worth celebrating! They couldn’t have asked for a better day to commemorate this trip with as the the sunlight sparkled off the serene sea. Thank you, Kunkle Family, for letting our team be a part of this momentous trip with you all. Your family is stunning and we have no doubt that great things lie ahead for everyone.
