The King Family LOVES Maui! Having honeymooned here nine years ago, it will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Helping them celebrate their return to the island were two beautiful daughters and a hilarious brother and sister-in-law. Excellent additions, as traveling companions go. As evident by their Maui Family Portrait, this was a fun loving bunch that wasn’t afraid to let loose or joke around with one another. Enhancing the moment was the location itself. Southside Beach was ripe with vivid colors, lush greenery, and dramatic lava rocks that added an element of flair. We had so much fun with this troop and we hope it’s not another nine years before they return. Don’t be strangers! Thank you for selecting Karma Hill Photography! It’s been eight years since the Hankins Family was in Maui. As Alec and Brooke were too young to appreciate the majesty of the island back then, they developed a profound new love for the Magic Isle on this trip. Visiting from Texas, they were enthralled by all the activities there were to do, and places to see and explore. It was a trip to appease all. While the kids had fun being adventurous, mom and dad got to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. On hand to capture the memories was Maui Family Photographer Chantelle, and amazing member of the Karma Hill Photography team. Kanaha Beach provided an excellent back drop with stunning blues and gorgeous views. The West Maui mountains are incredible from that location. It was a wonderful day made all the better by warm and caring family that clearly has a blast together. Thank you, Hankins Family, for choosing Karma Hill Photography for this milestone trip. Happy Anniversary & Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Chantelle of Karma
A year to the day after they said ‘I Do’ in front of a gathering of loved ones, Shelly and Joseph got the intimate celebration they had been waiting for. Though an elopement had been the original plan, too many people wanted to share in their joy so the event moved to a venue that could accommodate them. It was still gorgeous, nestled in the hills above Kapalua, but it wasn’t the Maui Beach Wedding they had planned. So, a year later, a vow renewal brought their dream to fruition and a ceremony just for them took place along the shore. This blessed pair got the best of both worlds, a large gathering with loved ones and an intimate affair for two. We are so glad we got to share in their joy and capture this precious moment. Thank you, Shelly and Joseph. It’s been an honor getting to know you and we are so happy your dreams came true. Best Wishes and Warm Aloha!!!Maui Wedding Package & Coordination:
As a first Maui vacation together, the Watt Family explored and enjoyed as much as they could to get the most memories out of their trip! And what better way to include a Maui Family Portrait while at it! :0) They love tropical Hawaiian scenery, so their first choice was Ironwoods beach, which is one our favorites for obvious reasons, of course. I mean – who wouldn’t want to spend golden hour on this warm sandy beach and then on some of the most amazing cliffs Maui has to offer? In fact, even their kids want to move to Maui after this trip! This setting went beautifully with the cool and laid-back family, who weren’t afraid to share some laughs in front of the camera. We had a wonderful time meeting you all and hope to meet again in the future, perhaps when you move here! :0) Mahalo
With a whispering wind wrapping around them, Kelly and Ed joined their family for a beautiful Maui Wedding. After her father escorted her down the beach, our stunning bride joined hands with her handsome groom so they could begin the next phase of their lives. Cheers of delight rang out as the new Mr. and Mrs. were announced husband and wife. Afterwards, they wanted to get as much variety as possible for their Maui Wedding Photography. Ironwoods Beach provided a bevy of options to be featured in their collection. Between the glistening sea, sandy boardwalk, and dramatic cliffs, these will be cherished wedding memories Kelly and Ed will love looking back upon. We were so grateful to have been a part of this Georgia couple’s big day. Thank you, you two! We can’t wait to welcome you back for an anniversary trip in the future. Congratulations & Warm Aloha!!!Maui Wedding Package & Coordination:
With family members spread out, sometimes you need to reunite in an amazing place to bring everyone together. We got to meet up with the Brennfoerder Family as they re-connect along Maui’s North shore. The calm, protected waters right in front of Mama’s Fish House make for a very enticing spot for curious little girls. Wading in to the warm waters, there were bright and shining smiles all around as these fun family members played along the shore. Bright blues in the sky and sea added to the tropical atmosphere our new friends desired for their Maui Family Portrait. This area of the island always shows off a quintessential Hawaiian look that we can’t get enough of. We are so glad we got to meet the Brennfoerder Family and thankful they chose Karma Hill Photography. Thank you!!!Until we meet again, Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Kyra of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Mama’s Fish House BeachTime of Day: MorningCheck out the Miranda’s Maui Family Portrait!
Despite planning a lavish affair back home in Michigan, Rachel and Brandon decided on a Maui Beach Wedding in the end. With an ever growing guest list, and to-do list, and mounting pressure, it just wasn’t right for them. Instead an escape to a beautiful island, with their soulmate, was just what they needed. On hand to share in the joy was a hand full of friends and family, including an impromptu guest from Oahu. After being together for three years, Rachel and Brandon got to say the words they had been longing to let out: ‘I Do.’ Once completed, the atmosphere shifted, and these two were wrapped in the warmth of the Aloha Spirit as they beamed with joy. We are so glad they decided a destination wedding was in order. This brought us together and we are grateful to have been a part of their story. Congratulations, you two, and Warm Aloha!!!Maui Wedding Package & Coordination:
After a romantic ‘First Look,’ Boram and Joshua met beneath the shade trees of the Kukahiko Estate. With friends and family looking on, their Pastor led them through the ceremony that would be a turning point in their lives. No longer two hearts, they have become one. One life, one future. With a friend’s melodious tune floating from the flute, our love birds sealed their promise with a kiss and officially became husband and wife. Prior to beginning their Hawaiian honeymoon, which will continue into Canada, they celebrated their special night with a romantic dinner for two. Thank you, Boram and Joshua, for letting our team capture your Maui Wedding Photography. We wish you both all the happiness in the world and hope our paths cross again one day.
When you’ve been together for fifty (count ’em – 50!!!) years, you’ve earned the chance to do what ever you want for your anniversary. For the Brossier Family, that meant a family vacation in paradise. Of course, the family that plays together…also works together??? In this case, yes!!! Our tight knit new friends from Sonoma actually own and operate an olive oil company together – yum!!! The multiple generations seem to just add another element of fun and good humor to the mix so this Maui Family Portrait Session was a blast to be a part of! With sweet kids and kind parents, the Brossier Family was so much fun to work with. Thank you for letting us capture this significant anniversary milestone and quality family bonding!!! Welcome back, Miranda Family!!! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family back in 2009 when they were stationed on Oahu. Now residing in Texas, I was so excited to see their return to the Magic Isle for a little R&R. What a joy it is to see the kids growing up! We had a blast trying to capture some of the magic and look of that past session but we also got to save a new memory with a three generation photo of the lovely ladies with Grandma. I cannot say enough about how sweet these beaming people are. I love when clients return but I especially love it when they are as kind and caring as this family is. Thank you, Miranda Family! Not only for giving me the honor of capturing your Maui Family Portrait again but, also, for your service to our country. Thank you!!!Looking forward to next time!!!
