When the Harper family (Jack the dog included) arrived at Baldwin Beach for their morning photo shoot we were greeted with lots of energy and big smiles. The boys were so excited to play in the sand and climb on logs. We jumped as high as we could off the big tree stumps that are scattered across Baldwin Beach. The boys dug into a giant hole in the sand and couldn’t stop laughing when their mommy surprised them with a Whoopee Cushion. Of course, the funniest moment was when Jack the dog decided to dance around on Chamonix’s head (mom helped him get up there). We finished their

Easley Family Portraits at Makena Big Beach – by Staff Photographer Chamonix

Uncontrollable cuteness is what we discovered when the Easley family arrived at Makena Big Beach for their Maui family portraits. Little Briella was ready for her close-up with smiles from beginning to end of the photo shoot. And why wouldn’t she be happy when she was having such a fun trip to the beach with her parents? She got to kick sand into the air, ride on dad’s shoulders, splash in the waves with mom and watch the sunset over the ocean from a cozy little perch on the beach. Apparently, Briella is destined to grow up and be a surfer girl. She loved being in the water! We were chasing waves out and letting them chase us back in. We finished their portrait session at sunset, singing songs and throwing our arms up in the air! Thank you so much Easley family! We had a blast with you guys.

Amy & Chad’s Couples Portraits at Southside Beach – by Staff Photographer Chamonix

Amy and Chad were so adorable at their photo shoot this week. We met them at Southside Beach for a sunset photo session. Before heading down to the sand, we started with some cuddling in the beautiful green trees that line the beach. Amy instantly started laughing and being goofy, trying to make Chad crack a smile. We loved her playfulness! After adventuring on the lava rocks and splashing in the waves, Amy and Chad stood hand and hand at the shore, staring out at the ocean and one of the most stunning sunsets we’ve seen this month. We love it when the clouds get involved and catch all the colors in the sky. Thank you so much Amy & Chad for choosing Maui Vacation Portraits, we had a wonderful time with you both!

Hills Family Portraits at Baldwin Beach – by Staff Photographer Chamonix

We met the Hills family at Baldwin Beach for their Maui family portraits. We started their shoot with some beautiful mommy-daughter portraits. Little Alani’s face lit up with a big happy smile when she was thrown up into the air. She was so adorable. Escaping the bright morning sunshine, we ran up the beach and snapped some fun family portraits in the shade of the tall palm trees. We also found some fun giant rocks which offered a perfect spot for climbing and sitting. We couldn’t stay away from the water for very long though so Alani took her parents for a walk down the beach, dug a hole in the sand and made an imaginary call on her shell-phone. Thank you so much Hills family for playing with us on the beach this week! We had so much fun with you guys 🙂
