The Zhang family traveled all the way from Australia to vacation in Maui for the Christmas holiday. Their two littles did so great despite the long journey and the smiles were plentiful! The family brought brightly colored balloons with them and that really made their little girl happy, she would giggle and smile every time they got near her. It also made for some super cute and unique photos! It was a bright and sunny morning and all of us had fun playing on the beach and splashing in the water. Winter Time in Maui! The Ranganathan Family Portraits by Maui Photographer Karma Hill

Maui is known for it’s year round near perfect weather, but in the winter time, we do get a bit more rain then in the summer. The Ranganathan’s were such great sports when on the day of their portrait session, Maui decided the plants needed some water! Although it was sprinkling and cloudy most of the session, the sun did pop out for a few moments giving us some very interesting light.

A Beautiful Beach Wedding – by Maui Wedding Photographer Karma Hill

Scott and Natalia traveled to Maui from Canada with their family to tie the knot on a beautiful beach! It was a gorgeous evening with soft light and a stunning sunset. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Joe Miles, his warmth and kind spirit made the ceremony so special along with the obvious love between these two. After the ceremony and photos the group headed to Capishe? at the Hotel Wailea where a perfectly styled table and a bottle of champagne on ice was waiting for them! It was such a pleasure to be a part of this couples Maui wedding day, what a beautiful day for two beautiful people, inside and out!

Capturing the Love of Natalie & Jansen – by Karma Hill Photography

Natalie & Jansen met a few years ago at a church function on Halloween. Jansen spotted Natalie from afar and knew it was love at first sight. For Natalie it took a little convincing but after a few months of dating she realized the strength of the love she had for him. Jansen proposed to Natalie at sunrise at Haleakala and the rest is history. Jansen & Natalie were married at the Bailey House Museum in Wailuku town and then had their reception at The Maui Tropical Plantation. They were dressed to impress and Natalie rolled up in an immaculate Rolls Royce. After the heartfelt ceremony where many tears were shed Natalie & Jansen were pronounced husband & wife! Staff photographer Ajja and the rest of the crew traveled to the Tropical Plantation where we took pictures of the fun and lively bridal party. Maui Family Portraits with the Bergman Family – by Karma Hill Photography

We met the Bergman family bright and early for a family photo shoot at Baby Beach in Lahaina last week! They were so fun and happy and ready to take pictures! We absolutely LOVE the littlest Bergmans! Their little girl is so adorable we just can’t contain it! And their son… it doesn’t get much cuter than that! Don’t you want to just squeeze his cheeks? Jackie’s Maui Senior Portrait – by Karma Hill Photography

I received a phone call last week from a nice young lady named Jackie who wanted to book a senior portrait. I didn’t even realize at first that it was for herself! It’s not everyday that a senior books their own Maui senior portrait. She went online, booked the session, paid the deposit, and called it a day! What a mature and responsible young lady! Nice work Mom & Dad for raising such an independent daughter. Staff photographer Naomi met Jackie and her mom at DT Fleming beach on the west side of Maui. Jackie looked so beautiful and was so comfortable in front of the camera she made Naomi’s job a piece of cake. Seriously! Look at these pictures! They are amazing!!! And if you weren’t impressed enough, just know that this fabulous young lady did her own hair and makeup! I’m impressed!
