We love our local friends! The Raboy Family is no exception to that statement. Running in the same circles as our fabulous office manager, Brooke, these six smiling faces have often been neighbors (including now!) and have always been dear friends. With their oldest preparing to follow in Wade’s footsteps as an airline pilot, another preparing for the next chapter in his life as a young adult, and two youngsters thriving in a Hawaiian immersion school, there is no shortage of things to celebrate and be thankful for in their lives. This beaming mom and dad are two of the coolest, and nicest, people you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting and we loved getting to hang out with them on a stunning sunset evening for their Maui Family Portrait. Thank you, Raboy Family, for being such great sports and friends. We love you! Every parent can appreciate, as our kids grow up, time becomes more and more precious. For the Welch Family, with both daughters being out of the house and on their own, this special time in Hawaii together was an incredible gift. As their Maui Family Photographer, we had the honor of capturing their first trip here while they left Montana behind for some fun in the sun. Reveling in the beauty all around them, this fabulous five-some was most excited about their trip to Hana. Looking forward to exploring the island, it was obvious how much this group adores one another and how grateful they were for their time together. Thank you, Welch Family, for letting Karma Hill Photography capture this special memory for you. When you have two spirited youngsters, you want to freeze the moment in time to remember it always. For the Wu Family, that was how they felt about the island. The kids are growing up so fast and they wanted to capture the moment with Maui Family Beach Portraits so that the memory can live on and be cherished for years to come. We caught up with the California crew as they prepared to head home… literally. They left later that day! We are so glad the timing worked out so that we spend a few minutes with these vivacious kids and sweet parents. They were absolutely darling to work with! Graced with a stunning day, they were even granted a parting rainbow to send them on their way with Aloha. Thank you, Wu Family, for choosing Karma Hill Photography to capture this moment in your family’s story. Frequent visitors to Maui, the Kaplan family knows how amazing this piece of paradise is. Having a vacation rental here, they are lucky to call Hawaii home from time to time. We caught up with them on a beautiful morning that found son Miles playing along the surf. With a profound love of the ocean, the Seattle based family is more than happy when they get their time in the sunshine and Aloha. We had such a good time capturing their Maui Family Portrait at Wailea’s Southside Beach because the laughter and smiles were easy as pie. Naturally sweet, they were a dream in front of the lens and darling to work with. Thank you, Kaplan Family, for letting the Karma Hill Photography team freeze this moment in time for you. We look forward to bumping in to you again on future trips. Until then, Happy New Year and Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Sasha of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Southside BeachTime of Day: Morning
Surrounded by dashing men, Marci was the picture of perfection as she posed with her beloved family on Lahaina’s Baby Beach. Graced by a gorgeous morning, complete with a rainbow, we had such a blast capturing their Maui Family Portrait beside the swaying sea. Thanks to a referral from the fabulous Andrika, the Sturgill Family found their way to us while visiting from California. Playing and laughing in and around the deep blue sea, there was no shortage of entertainment with this beautiful family and we are so happy we got to hang out with them. Thank you, Sturgill Family, for choosing Karma Hill Photography to be a part of your family’s vacation. It was our pleasure meeting you all and we can’t to welcome you back again one day! We LOVE when awesome families get referred to us as the Rowden Family did. (Thanks, Jennifer!) This fabulous Washington State troop was in town to celebrate Christmas, and their first time on island, and wanted to capture the moments of magic. Looking for a fun combination of candid and posed shots, their Maui Family Portraits were such a blast to be a part of! Treated to a stunning night, this group was so excited to be on island enjoying the beach and incredible activities like zip-lining. What a way to celebrate the holidays! Nothing like some good old fashioned family bonding in paradise. Thank you, Rowden Family, for letting our team be a part of your perfect trip. It was such a pleasure meeting you all and wish you a very Happy New Year! Leaving New Mexico behind for a few days in paradise, the Solano Family was all smiles as we spent time with them on the gorgeous Po’olenalena shore. Blessed with a stunning sunset, they were already grateful just to be there but the scenery put the happiness meter above cloud nine. In town to celebrate this mama’s major accomplishment – completing her master’s degree – there was no shortage of joy floating in the air. The fabulous foursome was sweet as could be and we are so glad they got the dream evening for their Maui Family Beach Portraits. Not a bad way to remember their first time in Maui. Thank you, Solano Family, for letting Karma Hill Photography capture this moment of happiness in your family’s timeline. Congratulations, Andrea! We hope this is the first trip of many and that our paths cross again one day. Ten years to the day, standing in the same spot they stood a decade ago, Tanis and Adam renewed the vows they’ve held dear for so long. Joined by their parents and kids, this was an incredible moment filled with love, intimacy, and promises that can’t wait to continue. It was also a chance to right a wrong from years ago. In a terrible turn of events after their original wedding, their sunset wedding photos were lost, thus leaving no evidence of the magical night that brought them together as husband and wife. We were so happy this stunning Vancouver family got their second chance at a fabulous sunset on the Maui coast. With the sun sinking in the distance, they got to re-live the love and happiness from ten years ago…this time with the added bonus of three gorgeous children. Hearts full, future reaffirmed, Tanis and Adam take the steps forward into the adventures that await them in the next chapter. We are so honored to have been the Maui Vow Renewal Photographer for this fabulous
Soft morning light cascaded upon the shore as Danielle and Nathan prepared for their Oahu Beach Wedding. With loved ones keeping them calm, they readied themselves for the moment they had been waiting for. Once fully adorned, they met in the back yard of the rented beach home to enjoy a private first look, a chance to connect with one another before the ceremony. It was an incredible moment that set the stage for the romance that would follow. While the sun slowly rose in the sky, the fabulous Georgia residents gathered on the sandy shore outside their beach house to take the next step. With pastel colors on display around them, the love and joy so clearly present danced in the wind with the chords from the ukulele. What a beautiful sight it was to behold, on not just because the bride and groom are stunning themselves. It was the obvious affection an adoration on their faces as they became husband and wife that we loved and connected with. Thank you, Danielle and Nathan, for allowing
In their own private piece of perfection on the Southern shore, California couple Marissa and Paul created their own ‘Paradise Falls.’ With the beloved movie, Up, as their inspiration, they were so excited for romantic Maui Venue Wedding beside the sparkling sea. After meeting in fifth grade, their friendship blossomed over the years creating a foundation of love, compassion, and understanding. While on Oahu for a friend’s wedding five years ago, that friendship took a turn in new territory and they never looked back. With a constant stream of laughter, and shared devotion to their own interests and jobs, Marissa and Paul have a stunning future ahead of them. After a Pokemon Go proposal, and an ‘Up’ themed wedding, the sky is the limit for this adorable duo and we are so glad we got to meet them. Thank you, you two, for letting our team capture the joy so clearly written on your faces. We wish you a lifetime of happiness ahead. Congratulations & Warm Aloha!!!Maui Wedding Package & Coo
