The first thing Lindsey said to me when I met her, was “I chose to have a Maui wedding because of your photography, no pressure tho!” Um, yeah, no pressure at all!! LOL!!
Jeanette & Justin were married back home in California and spent their honeymoon in gorgeous Maui, Hawaii! What a better way to remember this special trip than to have Maui honeymoon portraits taken? Jeanette had an extra wedding dress laying around so they decided to take pictures in a more casual, beachy wedding attire with the addition of a floral bouquet. Staff photographer Sasha had so much fun with this sweet couple taking advantage of all the beautiful backdrops that Southside Beach has to offer. Thank you so much Jeanette & Justin for choosing Karma Hill Photography to capture your Maui honeymoon portraits! We wish you the very best!Photographer: Sasha of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Southside BeachTime of Day: SunsetCheck out our last Maui honeymoon portrait with Faisal & Sam!
Lisa & Thomas brought their closest family and friends all the way from Canada to get married in Maui! We were so honored when they asked us to photograph their wedding because they have to be one of the sweetest, most genuine couples we have ever met. Our staff photographer Naomi and her second shooter Sasha had so much fun with this couple and their wedding party. They began in separate rooms at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa for their getting ready coverage. Then they met in the garden area near the Moana Lounge for their first look. Thomas was ecstatic to see his gorgeous bride for the first time. Then Thomas & Lisa along with their bridal party had a little fun playing Bocce Ball, Tug-of-War, and even sat down for a game of Chess. We love when couples want to add these fun little elements into the photography. Then it was time for their ceremony. Thomas & Lisa were married by Reverend Fred Torres. This ceremony and exchange of vows left everyone in tears, even the photographers.
Kristin and Evan traveled all the way from Wisconsin to have their dream Maui Wedding! They chose one of Maui’s most stunning oceanfront venues, the Kukahiko estate.
Jamie & Tiler’s story is nothing short of beautiful! They met 8 long years ago when they were sophomores in high school. Never did they think that they’d find love at such a young age but they did and they truly are the best of friends. From the moment we met each of them their love for each other was very apparent. There’s nothing in the world they wouldn’t do for each other and we were so honored to be by their side on this very special day! We met Jamie & her bridesmaids at the Olowalu Plantation House where everyone was getting set up and ready for the evening. The caterers were there, the florist, the DJ, all the girls were getting ready in the house but outside was this young man with a smile from ear to ear. He was walking around with his hands in his pockets thanking everyone profusely for being there and prepping for his special day. Tiler is such a gentleman and his gorgeous lady was just as grateful! We took the lovely couple away from the crowd for their very first look at
Patrick is a Maui native that has relocated to the Bay Area where he has brought his Hawaiian culture with him. He is a very successful hula instructor in California and we were so excited to be able to take his head shots for him. Staff photographer Naomi met Patrick at Mama’s Fish House Beach where they began their photo session. Patrick is a total natural at taking pictures. It wasn’t hard at all to get him to smile and look handsome. After a couple outfit changes and prop inclusions we had what we needed to create a broad headshot collection for him. Thank you so much Patrick for choosing Karma Hill Photography for your Maui heashots. We hope that you enjoy your pictures and hope to see you again in Maui soon!Photographer: Naomi of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Mama’s Fish House BeachTime of Day: MorningCheck out our last Maui headshot session with Victoria’s Senior Portrait!
The Breller Family contacted us looking for more of a lifestyle portrait for their wonderful family. They wanted the action shots of their daily lives (well, vacation life) and then an intimate family portrait. The idea was to start in their vacation rental with a little baking. The girls baked cookies to go with their milk and mom sliced some yummy dragonfruit. Staff photography Naomi was able to capture the fun in the simple things that this family enjoys. Once they were finished at the Kapalua Villas the family, along with Naomi, traveled to Baby Beach. There was a bit of rain further up North but the Breller family was along for the ride into Lahaina for family beach portraits. By the end of the shoot the girls had such a fun time with Naomi they were drawing pictures of her and thanking her in the sand. “Nayomi” is how they spelled it. So so cute! Overall it was a fun and exciting day! Thank you so much Breller family for letting Karma Hill Photography be a part of it!
