I first met the McKay family in 2011 when I took some Maui Vacation Portraits for them! Their son was quite a bit younger and more interested in his train toy then taking photos back then.

We LOVE being a part of such memorable moments in peoples lives. It truly is why we do what we do! When we were contacted by Mr. Tran about their Maui beach portraits we could not contain our excitement. See, his plan all along was to make his long-time girlfriend think they were just taking family portraits on the beach in Maui. During the portrait he decided to pop the question!!! Of course she said YES! and then we continued with family and couples portraits. It was a perfect way to propose because now you have pictures to remember it by forever. We were happy to welcome back the adorable Cash family, with the addition of their beautiful baby girl! The last time we met them, baby was in momma’s tummy so it was so cool to see them again and see how big baby is already!! It was a beautiful morning at Baby Beach in Lahaina, with just the perfect amount of cloud cover and sun.

We had a wild ride with the weather for this family portrait at DT Fleming Beach! We started with some lovely cloud cover which quickly turned into a heavy rain shower, we ran for the trees and took cover until the rain subsided then the sun came out and it was a gorgeous morning for the rest of the photo shoot!

These two lovebirds came to Maui for their honeymoon and decided it was a great opportunity to do a Trash the Dress session! Staff photography Naomi met the lovely couple at Po’olenalena Beach where they were all dolled up in their wedding attire! They brought their adorable son with them and did some family pictures of the 3 of them as well! They looked so happy and beautiful and we loved taking pictures for them. Cherelle booked a mini session for some Maui Senior Portraits as she is getting more senior portraits back home in New Mexico later in the year. What a great idea to get a few fun beachy photos while on vacation in addition to the traditional portraits back home! I wish I had more time with her as she was such a fun person to photograph, she was up for anything and brought along a surfboard as a prop, which I think added so much to the look of her photos! We had so much fun photographing Kyle & Eric’s Maui wedding, it didn’t feel like work at all! It was almost like we were just a couple guests snapping pictures at a fabulous event! Kyle & Eric along with their closest friends and family “that made the cut” were so much fun to hang with! The food was amazing, the company was very entertaining, and the music… on point! They were married upcountry at the Ocean Vodka Distillery! What a gorgeous property overlooking all of Maui! It has such a rustic feel, surrounded by sugar cane, and offers so many amazing backdrops for pictures. For their vows they told the story of how they met, maybe a joke or two, and then it was on with the party. These two were such a blast and we are so honored to have been a part of their wedding day!
