Having met four years ago thanks to Maxine’s nursing co-worker…Jordan’s sister…the adorable duo were so excited for their Maui Elopement. Preferring to not be the center of attention, and not wanting to manage a big wedding or narrowing down to a small wedding, they knew that an intimate affair was exactly in order. Enjoying a stress-free planning experience, the biggest task they faced was finding Max’s wedding dress…which was no longer available when it was time to order it. Finally tracking it down across state lines, it was the perfect compliment to Jordan’s perfect moisture wicking suit. Something every groom should consider! It was amazing!!! The soft cloud cover and filtered light made for a dreamy scene that lent itself to an ethereal and romantic setting. These two were so sweet with one another and we were so thrilled to share in this moment with them. Thank you, Max and Jordan, for allowing our team into your lives as you take this step forward into a new adventure.
Family is everything. Though life has a way of taking unexpected and difficult turns, through it all, family sticks together. For the Kirkwood Family, they were so sweet, and the kids were so excited for their first time to Maui. Mom, Jennifer, having visited with her late husband, wanted to share the experience with her beloved children so they too could know a little piece of paradise. So, leaving the winter of Indiana behind for a few days, they set out for some rest and relaxation along the golden shores to spend some quality time together. We had the pleasure of capturing their Maui Family Portrait as the sun sank into the distant horizon at Olowalu. What an evening for a spectacular family. The love and strength so clearly on display between these four was something to see. Thank you, Kirkwood Family, for letting the Karma Hill Photography team capture this moment in time. We wish you all the best in your journey ahead. Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Megan of Karma Hill
On a crisp, clear morning, we caught up with the Acevedo Family in a special place. With Napili Bay having a tight hold on their hearts, they chose this spot for their Maui Family Portrait as a way of forever capturing the scene. In town from Portland, this gorgeous family was as sweet as could be as they played along the serene shore. Of course, with eight year olds twins involved, there were laughs to be shared, but most a lot of love. The bond between these boys, and the whole family, was a beautiful sight and one we are so glad we could share. The setting was perfect, the family superb. Thank you, Acevedo Family, for letting Karma Hill Photography freeze this moment in time for you. We hope these photos become as cherished as the memories you’ve made here.Until next time, Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Amber of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Napili BayTime of Day: MorningCheck out the Boenisch’s Maui Family Portrait!
Under the cover of an overcast sky, the Xu Family rallied on a Southern shore for their Maui Family Portrait. With so much to celebrate, there was no shortage of smile inspiration. Between an anniversary, a birthday, and some good old fashioned grandma bonding time, the love and laughter was out in full force. The Bay area beauties got to enjoy one another’s company while leaving the real world behind for a few days. As the sea danced beside them, they could stroll the beach with sand on their toes and a breeze on their face. What an incredible experience for an awesome family to share. Thank you, Xu Family, for letting our team capture the happiness in your hearts. After trading in his rock band days where he met the love of his life, Alfie is happy to enjoy country music and domestic bliss with Shauna. After being together for six years, a surprise proposal while en route to Disney Land sealed the fate of the loving pair. They were headed for eternal happiness with a Maui Wedding beside the dramatic coastline. Surrounded by loved ones, they enjoyed a heartfelt and romantic ceremony that would see them declared as husband and wife to start the new chapter in their lives. It was an incredible night as the sun sank into the sea along Makena’s shore. We are so happy for Alfie and Shauna and can’t thank them enough for letting our team share in the joy of the big day. Thank you, you two! Congratulations & Warm Aloha!!!Maui Wedding Package & Coordination:
If there’s one thing we can tell you for sure, it’s that Judi and Brent are going to be a fabulous bride and groom to photograph on their wedding day. They are absolute naturals in front of the camera and, most importantly, one hundred percent head over heels for one another. The love was palpable as they laughed with each other beside the rolling waves. Having met in college and then re-connecting a few years, this moment in their lives has been a stage they’ve been working towards for the last three years. After officially getting engaged while on a helicopter ride on Oahu the week before our Maui Couples Portrait with them, this was certainly a time to celebrate. So, as the sun sank towards the horizon, painting the sky a stunning display of pastel colors, we captured the magic of this gorgeous Texas couple’s engagement enchantment. We loved every minute of working with these two and are so happy for them. Thank you, Judi and Brent, for letting the Karma Hill Photography team be a
We had an absolute BLAST with Amanda and Randy!!! These two could not be any cuter with each other, or more natural in front of the camera. They are pros! What was going to be an engagement session actually ended up being their Maui Wedding Portrait as they got married at the Wailuku courthouse the day we met them. They went for it! Looking amazing in their wedding best, these two were such good sports during their session. There was no hesitation as they climbed on all the lava rocks and cliffs to get the epic images they will want to cherish forever. Having made the trip from Vancouver, they were treated to a gorgeous sunset along the Kapalua coast and we are so happy we got to be a part of it. Amanda and Randy, thank you for letting our team capture this momentous day for you. It truly was an honor. We wish you all the best that this world has to offer.Congratulations & Warm Aloha!!!Maui Wedding Photographer: Jenny of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Ironwoods BeachTime of Day: Suns
