They don’t come much cuter than the Chagolla Family’s Baby Mia. Particularly when they are eating their seven month old announcement sign. If that doesn’t sum up this age, we don’t know what will. With her proud mom and dad looking on, this little lady was sporting some of the most precious facial expressions as she enjoyed the bright blue morning along the coast. Since Melissa and Bobby were married on Maui eleven years ago, they visit every year for their anniversary. Of course, this year was extra special since it’s the first time they get to introduce their darling girl to the island they love so much. An annual excursion here is an excellent family tradition, if we may say so, and we hope it means we’ll get to see them again next year for another Maui Family Portrait. Thank you, Chagolla Family, for choosing to work with Karma Hill Photography. Your family is stunning and we can’t wait to see how fast this little angel grows. Happy Anniversary and Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photogr
As the sun slipped towards the horizon, the Phan Family had fun frolicking along the shore. In town to celebrate a very special 40th birthday, it was an opportune time to catch up on some long over due photos. Wanting to capture a natural side of the fabulous foursome, we tried to focus their Maui Family Portrait on the candid moments that transpire when a loving family just relaxes and has a good time together. This California crew were absolute naturals as they laughed, smiled, and embraced upon the lava rock laden coast. We had such a blast with them and really couldn’t ask for sweeter group to spend an evening with. Thank you, Phan Family, for letting our team capture a magical evening with your family. Fifteen years ago, Karen and Scott said ‘I Do’ on the very beach where we meet them. In town to celebrate their anniversary, they were absolutely adorable, and clearly still head over heels for one another. The beautiful South Maui morning did not disappoint. Between the interesting sky, calm waters, and fun lava rocks, there was plenty to look at that fine morning. Visiting from Washington State, Karen and Scott enjoyed a morning of quiet romance and picturesque views. Not a bad way to spend an anniversary. The subtle wisps of clouds combined with the bright blues to make a back drop you could get lost in for days. Thank you, you two, for letting our team capture this incredible milestone in your relationship. We can’t wait to see you both back again soon and we hope you love your Maui Anniversary Portrait until you can see the island in person again.
With baby blues that match the sea, lovely little lady Aria was the shining star of the Hetterle’s Maui Family Portrait. Basically having become honorary locals, our new friends from Washington State have been coming to Maui for over 20 years. Gathering on island for a fabulous 60th birthday celebration, this fun group was a blast to work with. While some were more excited for their close up than others, there was one thing everyone could agree on – Aria was cute as could be!!! She turned that bright smile on the lens and hearts just melted all around us. Miss Aria is one lucky little girl to have a cool array of adults around her that obviously have so much love to give. The bond between this family was awesome and something we love capturing. Whether you like have your photo taken or not, the cherished memories frozen in time are worth having around. Thank you, Hetterle Family, for letting our team be a part of your family vacation. Happy Birthday and Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photog
There were no hills in sight as the Lee family gathered on the Magic Isle for Jean and John’s dual 40th birthday celebration. Instead, they were treated to stunning lava rock formations, an endless view of the sea, and a white sandy beach perfect for strolling. Having not been to the island in six years, this L.A. group was ecstatic to relax and enjoy their time together for this momentous milestone.
The Underdown’s have a lot to celebrate, dad’s 50th birthday, a 1 year wedding anniversary and college graduation! What better way to celebrate than a trip to Maui and some awesome portraits to commemorate the occasion! It was an absolutely stunning morning at Baby Beach in Lahaina, the water was so calm it was reflecting the sky, in some of the photos I swear you can’t tell where the sky ends and the ocean begins! I had such a great time spending time with this lovely family and getting to know them, hopefully I get to see them back in Maui in the future, maybe with some little ones next time! 🙂 Mahalo for choosing Karma Hill Photography for your Maui Family Portraits Underdown family, it was so great to spend time with you!!Time of day: MorningLocation: Baby Beach LahainaPhotographer: KarmaClick “read more” to see more images from this session!
10 years ago Koert and Renee were married at the Olowalu Plantation House. Fast forward to now, two kids and a couple of cross country moves later, they are still happily in love and back on Maui to celebrate their big anniversary! The folks at the Olowalu Plantation house were kind enough to allow them have their 10 year anniversary family portraits where it all began! It was so fun getting to know this adorable family and to hear stories of their wedding day. Stressful moments on a wedding day turn into funny stories to be told later, no wedding is complete without a few moments of drama to make a good story! Of course the entire day was amazing and it was great to see them reliving it a bit together ten years later. Mahalo Koert and Renee for choosing me to be a part of your anniversary celebration, I hope to see you back in Maui in the future!!Time of Day: MorningPhotographer: KarmaLocation: Olowalu Plantation HouseCheck out our last Maui family portrait with the Voelker Family!
