For their silver wedding anniversary, the Becker Family decided to take their first trip to Hawaii for some celebration in the sun. After twenty-five amazing years, and two gorgeous kids, the darling anniversary couple was so excited to capture this momentous occasion with a Maui Family Portrait to remember. Blessed with an incredible day, the sea was sparkling beneath the soft blue sky while this fabulous foursome played along the shore. With so much to be grateful for, it’s no wonder their smiles were ear to ear. We had so much fun with these Mid-Westerners and we can’t wait for their next trip to paradise. Thank you, Becker Family, for letting Karma Hill Photography capture your milestone moment in the sun. As frequent visitors to the island, their love of Hawaii was reason enough to be thrilled for this trip. Yet, it wasn’t the only reason the Heise Family was having a blast. As this proud grandma and grandpa celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, the moment was made that much more special because their family was gathered to celebrate with them.
Their twice a year visits to the Hawaiian islands haven’t done anything to lessen the fascination with this lovely land for the Leo Family. In fact, if anything, they fall in love with it more and more with each visit. After spending a wonderful Thanksgiving on Kauai, they hopped to our piece of paradise for a little continued island fun to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. Though the sun was a bit elusive, this gorgeous group from Oregon wouldn’t let that rain on their parade. The beaming smiles, fun, and laughter were on full display as they played along the sea strewn shoreline. As the tides have carved out new paths along the coast, it’s like a playground in the eyes of these youngsters. We are so happy these beautiful and bonded siblings were able to relax and enjoy their
There are some couples, some stories, that just touch your heart. Nancy and David are just such a pair. With a love so strong it’s the envy of anyone who has the pleasure of meeting them, they set the bar high for relationship goals. Having met, fallen in love, and married 45 years ago, it was truly a love at first sight turned forever kind of romance. Stationed with the Navy in Waikiki, David found Nancy on the shores of Oahu and they ended up spending many wonderful years living there together. As their story began in the Hawaiian islands, the Aloha Spirit has remained in their hearts ever since, renewed by regular trips back to visit. With a Hawaiian themed basement back home in Tennessee filled with memorabilia from their travels here, the best mementos are the incredible experiences they have shared and hold close in their hearts. We hope that renewing their vows and celebrating with a Maui Anniversary Portrait becomes one of those treasured memories. The love shining between thi
On a pristine blue morning, the Simenstad Family played along the shore while the ocean danced upon the sand. With a fifth wedding anniversary to celebrate, the love and joy was as clear as the day was blue on the faces of this Washington couple. Two year old Charlotte kept her parents on their toes, as toddlers will do, and couldn’t have been any sweeter to work with. Despite a past apprehension with the beach, she was a super star in the sand and a delight to capture. Those bouncing curls and beaming eyes translate beautifully on camera and we hope the traveling trio enjoyed hanging out with our team as much as we enjoyed them. Thank you, Simenstad Family, for letting the Karma Hill Photography team capture your Maui Family Portrait during this peaceful time in paradise. With the beaming smiles of their four gorgeous children looking on, Jenny and Oscar enjoyed a Maui Beach Wedding. Though they’ve been married for ten years, the love has only grown stronger with each passing day, thus deserving a celebration of renewal. Having made the trip from Texas, the Vasquez family was on cloud nine as they delighted in the sand, surf, and beauty on display all around them. The kids weren’t big fans of mom and dad kissing, of course, but they recognized the happiness and joy that their parents shared as they reached this milestone in their relationship. They were also excited for dinner. Ha! With the Grand Wailea’s famed restaurant Humuhumunukunukuapua’a as their reception meal, who could blame them for being eager. We had such a good time with this fabulous group and couldn’t be more honored to have been a witness to their vow renewal. Thank you, Jenny and Oscar. With many more happy years ahead, we hope our paths cross again. Congratulations & Warm Aloha!!!Mau
With a silver anniversary to celebrate, we were so excited to spend time with the Summers Family. First of all, welcoming back Jo Ann and Jeff is always a pleasure. Having done couples portraits for them, as well as photos of them with their grand daughters in the past, we love seeing their smiling faces on island. Secondly, and certainly just as important, is getting to wish a happy anniversary to their daughter and son-in-law, Deana and Joey, as they ring in 25 years of wedded bliss. Since both couples look as in love as we can imagine they did on their wedding days, it was a joy capturing the natural light shining from within. As Lahaina Shores Beach set a lovely scene for the Tennessee foursome, and we are so thrilled they got to experience this time together for their Maui Family Portrait. Thank you, Summers Family, for thinking of Karma Hill Photography again.
