With the summer season comes the return of one of our favorite families. The Leitgebs are back! Yay! What an honor to see how this gorgeous family has grown and changed over the years. For the 5th time we had the pleasure of capturing their Maui Family Portrait in the beautiful setting at the Wailea Beach Villas. We even gained an additional person this time, Colton’s girlfriend Katie! Further proof that years have gone by since we first met them. We always have so much fun with this group and look forward to our time with them. They were blessed with a stunning evening along the Southern shore that photographs beautifully. The lush back drops and dramatic coastline are what dreams are made of. To the Leitgeb Family – thank you, as always, for allowing us the honor of capturing your amazing family each time. It’s our pleasure!!! We can’t wait until next time!Until then, Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Karma of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Wailea Beach VillasTime of Day: Suns
It’s safe to say that the dramatic lava rock and island setting of Polo Beach is a little different than back home in Edmonton for the Cairns Family. The tide pools simply call to the boys as they have a fantastic time exploring the coastline while mom and dad soak up the memories of their children happily enjoying life. Though they have professional photos taken every year, we like to think there’s something special about a Maui Family Portrait. Of course, it might be that Maui is the Cairns’ Family’s favorite place on Earth but we still like to think it’s partly us too. ;o) With gorgeous clear day on the horizon, they couldn’t have asked for a better morning. We also couldn’t ask for a better scene to capture this amazing moment for an even more amazing family. We had so much fun with these four and can’t wait until we see them again! Until then, Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Kyra of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Polo BeachTime of Day: MorningCheck out our last Maui famil
On a gorgeous Maui day, we had the pleasure of meeting a dazzling duo of girls. Gabby and Tess are a dynamic and spirited pair of sisters that couldn’t be any sweeter to one another. While Tess is the actual senior, Gabby never had the chance for portraits in her final year of school because of a busy sports schedule. Now in college, this was her chance to showcase her smile with her sister by her side. She adored the water shots and couldn’t have had more fun with it. There was no shortage of beauty as these girls were total naturals in front of the camera. Tess has an easy smile and unique take on things. She undoubtedly has a bright future ahead as she navigates this momentous time in her life. We absolutely adored spending time with these two, and their family. Thank you, Gabby and Tess, for letting our team capture your Maui Senior Portraits. We wish you both continued success as you travels your own paths into the future. When you take professional photos regularly, it can sometimes be hard to get all involved parties to be excited. For the Stein Family though, they did it right – they just had fun! As our kids go through the stages of life, often which include an adolescent phase that reminds you of their toddler days, it can be hard to get them on board with what mom and dad want. Then, they reach a magical age where young adulthood takes over and they start to recognize that their parents aren’t as bad as they thought and, really, their family is pretty cool. If nothing else, they are the people you can laugh at and with and still know they love you unconditionally. For our new friends the Steins, the spirits were high and the atmosphere fun. Celebrating their youngest son’s high school graduation, they were prepared for their Maui Family Portraits with props, ideas, and big smiles to compliment the lot. We had so much fun with them and hope they cherish this ever lasting reminder of the kids’ first
When your grand kids are as cute as these four, of course you want photos of them! Our new friend from Kihei, Nancy, was sent our way after hearing a lovely referral from the fabulous team at Salon 253 (thanks ladies!). We are so glad she chose us as their Maui Family Photographer because her family is as sweet as sugar cane. With their bright smiles and strong sibling bond, the Hyer Family grandchildren were a dream to work with. Of course, we had one of their two favorite things (the beach), so that helps. Unfortunately there aren’t any pizza joints directly on Polo Beach so we couldn’t fulfill that desire but they were still good sports. Thank you, Nancy, for following Adiels’ guidance and letting our team capture the precious moments with your grand babies. It’s always a pleasure, especially, having someone who’s local take the time to appreciate the beauty of our gorgeous island through photography. We hope to see you again soon!Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Sasha of Kar
When a family can’t all live by one another, what’s left to do but gather in Hawaii for Christmas to reunite and celebrate together? Not a bad idea, DeForest Family! Well done! We are so glad they chose Karma Hill Photography to help document this special gathering with Maui Family Portraits along the stunning Southside Beach’s shoreline. As the sun slipped in to the sea, it created a beautiful display of colors that looked amazing with the well coordinated group. With both grandkids growing up faster than the tides can change, it’s so important to grab on to these special moments together, especially with a sweet little girl in their midst that gets cuter each day. It was such a pleasure getting to capture the joy and appreciation of this wonderful family as they were so grateful to just be together. Thank you for including us in that magic. We wish you many more trips to reunite your amazing family. Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Portraits by Karma of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: South
Nestled in the hills above Lahaina, a group of Michiganders got to enjoy a beautiful holiday away from the snow. Not only is that a reason to celebrate, but they also took advantage of the chance to have Maui Family Reunion Portraits taken while all their families were together. There’s something so beautiful about seeing grandparents gathered with their children and grandchildren. Sure, it’s not easy to organize this many people for one vacation but it’s so worth it if you can pull it off. You cannot put a price on the special memories created when you get multiple generations together. Cousins becoming friends, adult siblings re-visiting days gone by, and grandparents enjoying the fruits of their labor. We love getting to be a part of these heartwarming times with great families. Thank you, Ginestat Family, it was a pleasure getting to spend time with this vivacious group of people.
