We LOVE when awesome families get referred to us as the Rowden Family did. (Thanks, Jennifer!) This fabulous Washington State troop was in town to celebrate Christmas, and their first time on island, and wanted to capture the moments of magic. Looking for a fun combination of candid and posed shots, their Maui Family Portraits were such a blast to be a part of! Treated to a stunning night, this group was so excited to be on island enjoying the beach and incredible activities like zip-lining. What a way to celebrate the holidays! Nothing like some good old fashioned family bonding in paradise. Thank you, Rowden Family, for letting our team be a part of your perfect trip. It was such a pleasure meeting you all and wish you a very Happy New Year! If there’s one thing we can tell you for sure, it’s that Judi and Brent are going to be a fabulous bride and groom to photograph on their wedding day. They are absolute naturals in front of the camera and, most importantly, one hundred percent head over heels for one another. The love was palpable as they laughed with each other beside the rolling waves. Having met in college and then re-connecting a few years, this moment in their lives has been a stage they’ve been working towards for the last three years. After officially getting engaged while on a helicopter ride on Oahu the week before our Maui Couples Portrait with them, this was certainly a time to celebrate. So, as the sun sank towards the horizon, painting the sky a stunning display of pastel colors, we captured the magic of this gorgeous Texas couple’s engagement enchantment. We loved every minute of working with these two and are so happy for them. Thank you, Judi and Brent, for letting the Karma Hill Photography team be a
After a morning portrait session the day before that featured bright hues and vivid colors, Katie and Joe enjoyed a gorgeous pastel look for their Maui Wedding Photography. With the sun sinking towards the sea, our lovebirds joined together before an intimate gathering of loved ones. Declaring their love for one another, and promising to nurture that love for the rest of their lives, Katie and Joe said ‘I Do’ and became husband and wife. As avid travelers, one of their favorite parts about exploring places is trying all the amazing food. So, it’s only fitting that after fun photos showing off the beautiful location, they would adjourn to the Hotel Wailea for an outstanding al fresco dinner. We are so happy for this duo of Texans. They were treated to an amazing setting not once, but twice, for their Maui getaway before heading on to the Big Island to continue the celebration. Thank you, Katie and Joe, for letting our team capture some of the joy of this time in your lives. We wish you
After making the trip from California, the Ang Family relished their relaxation time on their Hawaiian getaway. With Jacob and Natalie preparing for senior year and fifth grade, respectively, it was so important to this family that they get to spend some quality time together. As our children grow up, the time seems to fly by faster and faster. That’s why taking these moments together to slow down, re-connect, and enjoy just being a family are so important. The Angs absolutely get that. They were so sweet with one another and the love emanating from them all was obvious. With Southside Beach dazzling them with beauty, this was an evening to cherish. We are so pleased to be the Maui Family Photographer to capture this moment, and the kids’ first trip to Maui. Thank you, Ang Family, for letting Karma Hill Photography be a part of your vacation. We hope to see you back soon!Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Chantelle of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Southside BeachTime of Day: Sun
As anyone who has been married can attest, you can’t appreciate the sunshine unless you endure the rain. After 11 years of marriage, Barb and Ken, wanted the chance to re-affirm their love with a Maui Vow Renewal. The island tested their resolve though, as heavy rains assuaged the land in the days leading up to their special anniversary. Just as they thought they may get poured on in order to exchange their heartfelt promises, that morning the clouds parted and they were instead blessed with a striking display of nature’s beauty. The sunset is never as glorious as it is after a good down pour. We are so happy that real life Barbie and Ken, a darling couple from Arizona, were treated to the spectacular show. Thank you, you two, for letting our team be a part of this milestone in your relationship. It was our pleasure meeting you both and we look forward to celebrating with you again one day. Congratulations, Happy Anniversary, & Warm Aloha!!!Maui Couples Photographer: Chantelle of Karm
On a perfect Hawaiian night, we had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful group for their Maui Vacation Portrait. Southside Beach provided a one of a kind landscape for the Meyer Family to enjoy and it made for stunning photos. This Arizona quartet was so full of life and laughter that it was an absolute joy to be a part of freezing this moment in time. The real world, and real life, can wait. This is about capturing a moment of perfection. A time that can be reminisced about later and re-visited through photographs. We love what we do and we love, even more, getting to do it for amazing families like this one. Thank you, Meyer Family, for choosing Karma Hill Photography to capture this Maui adventure for you four. A four year old + a six year old + waves breaking on the shore = endless family fun! When the Wright Family traveled here from Utah, they took advantage of the opportunity for Maui Family Portraits on the beach. One look at this fun loving bunch and it’s clear they were having a blast. With two adorable kids frolicking in the water, and a pastel skyline in the back ground, this was an amazing session and we were so glad to be a part of it. The West side’s Ironwoods Beach provided the soft and dreamy setting for this family of four to relax and get in to the spirit of the portraits. The position of this Kapalua favorite offers such a cool perspective, and amazing colors.
