A Tale Of Two Hearts – Maxine & Jordan’s Maui Elopement

Having met four years ago thanks to Maxine’s nursing co-worker…Jordan’s sister…the adorable duo were so excited for their Maui Elopement. Preferring to not be the center of attention, and not wanting to manage a big wedding or narrowing down to a small wedding, they knew that an intimate affair was exactly in order. Enjoying a stress-free planning experience, the biggest task they faced was finding Max’s wedding dress…which was no longer available when it was time to order it. Finally tracking it down across state lines, it was the perfect compliment to Jordan’s perfect moisture wicking suit. Something every groom should consider! It was amazing!!! The soft cloud cover and filtered light made for a dreamy scene that lent itself to an ethereal and romantic setting. These two were so sweet with one another and we were so thrilled to share in this moment with them. Thank you, Max and Jordan, for allowing our team into your lives as you take this step forward into a new adventure.

Beach House Beauty – Jordan & Roupi’s Maui Wedding

A day after they enjoyed the enchanting gardens of the Haiku Mill for couples portraits, Jordan and Roupi joined loved ones along our Southern shore for their big day. Can we just say again how much we love this couple!? Not only are they adorable together in front of the camera, and sweet as can be in person, but we love that this stunning bride pursued her dashing groom until she could call him hers. Well played, sister! Though there had been mention that she wasn’t his type, that concept went out the window when Roupi realized she was the love of his life and the two started a blissful journey together. Seven years later and that love culminated in a fabulous ceremony beside the swaying sea.

Enchanted Garden – Jordan & Roupi’s Maui Couples Portrait

Amidst the lush grounds of the Haiku Mill, we encountered Jordan and Roupi as they anticipate their big day. In town from Arizona, this awesome couple wanted to take some time for themselves to capture the magic of the moments that transpire in the days leading up to ‘I Do.’ We love doing a Maui Couples Portrait session for our wedding couples like this. Wedding days carry a bevy of emotions with them so it’s fun, and peaceful, for couples to take a breath together. The smiles are natural, the spirits high, the mood relaxed. So gorgeous!!! These two are rockstars in front of the lens…stay tuned for their wedding photos still to come…Maui Couples Photographer: Chantelle of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Haiku MillTime of Day: MorningCheck out our last Maui couples portrait with Vanessa & Craig!

A Moment To Remember – Ashleigh & Jordan’s Maui Surprise Proposal

On a windswept evening, with the sun light fading in the distance, Ashleigh embarked upon a stroll down the beach with Jordan not knowing what awaited. The moment unfolded just as Jordan had planned, and the Maui Surprise Proposal was met with cheers of joy. Hiding in the wings, capturing from afar, our very own staff photographer Jenny was playing along. After the reveal was made, and proposal accepted, it was time for some romantic portraits to help celebrate this terrific night. This gorgeous couple so much fun, and so obviously in love, that the excitement and romance in the air was practically tangible. With an intimate dinner at Merriman’s to top off the evening, it will surely be one that neither of them forgets. Thank you, Ashleigh and Jordan, for letting our team capture this magical moment in your lives.
