Magic In The Moment – Chara & Neil’s Maui Beach Wedding

When the group was asked who presented the bride to be married, the entire collection of Chara and Neil’s loved ones declared, ‘We Do!’ It was a stunning moment of unity that only added to the delight of the evening. With the wild waves dancing in the background, we were blown away by the adorable Alaskan duo. Having bought a condo here, and then getting engaged here, Chara and Neil wanted nothing more than to celebrate their love with a

A Private Place For Two – Melissa & Bernard’s Maui Elopement

With a beaming smile on her face, Melissa said of Bernard that she falls in love with him more each day. An impressive statement given that they’ve been together for fifteen years. After ten years of asking when they would marry, their families had actually given up that the day would come. Yet, following their hearts, the time was right for their Maui Elopement so they left California behind for romance in paradise. Having fallen in love with Ironwoods Beach years ago, they were so excited to celebrate their love on the sand that holds a place in their hearts. Though the tide has dramatically narrowed the beach recently, they were treated to a completely private location which suited them just fine. With natural smiles and easy laughter, they are clearly a match made in heaven that we were so honored to capture the ceremony for. Thank you, Melissa and Bernard! We have no doubt that a happy and loving life lay ahead for you two. Congratulations & Warm Aloha!!!Maui Wedding Package & Co

Hanging Ten in Hawaii – The Robinson Family’s Maui Portraits

Leaving Ohio behind for some R & R in the Hawaiian islands, we caught up with the Robinsons for their Maui Family Portrait on the Kapalua coast. With mother nature keeping the sun under cover, the Mid-Westerners were granted a squint-free session in the absence of the blinding light. There was, however, really cool dramatic waves crashing on the rugged coast all around them. Though only five years old, this dazzling brother and sister duo were not intimidated in the least by the bustling sea. Having taken surf lessons while here, the whole group spent two straight days in the water, on their boards, hitting the waves. Fearless and adventurous – two words that definitely come to mind for this fabulous family, especially the two youngest that have no qualms about heading straight in to the amazing wonder that is the deep blue sea. As they headed to the Big Island next, we are so grateful they took the time to stop on the Magic Isle and enjoy a

Calm Waters, Cool Customers – The Cataldo Family’s Maui Portraits

Though the Cataldo Family finds their way to our shores frequently, this was the inaugural trip for baby Giorgio so it was an extra special treat. With a fifth wedding anniversary to boast, there was much to celebrate on this most recent trip to paradise. As Baby Beach cast a feeling of calm upon the Arizona crew, the two young boys couldn’t have been any sweeter for their Maui Family Portraits. Unpredictable is the name of the game when there’s a toddler and infant involved but we simply could not have asked for better from them. Darling smiles, calm demeanors, soft cloud cover, and obvious affection made photographing this beautiful family an absolute pleasure. Thank you, Cataldo Family, for letting the Karma Hill Photography team capture this precious moment in your family’s timeline. You have a stunning family and we hope to welcome you back for portraits again one day! Until we meet again, Warm Aloha!!!Maui Family Photographer: Cheynice of Karma Hill PhotographyLocation: Baby Bea

An Anniversary & Adventures – The Leo Family’s Maui Family Portraits

Their twice a year visits to the Hawaiian islands haven’t done anything to lessen the fascination with this lovely land for the Leo Family. In fact, if anything, they fall in love with it more and more with each visit. After spending a wonderful Thanksgiving on Kauai, they hopped to our piece of paradise for a little continued island fun to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. Though the sun was a bit elusive, this gorgeous group from Oregon wouldn’t let that rain on their parade. The beaming smiles, fun, and laughter were on full display as they played along the sea strewn shoreline. As the tides have carved out new paths along the coast, it’s like a playground in the eyes of these youngsters. We are so happy these beautiful and bonded siblings were able to relax and enjoy their

There’s no better reason to make your first trip to Maui than for a tenth wedding anniversary! That was the exact thought for the fabulous Crumrine Family. Aloha Spirit Comfort – The Umezu Family’s Maui Portraits

There are some Maui Family Portraits that stand out for us…this is one of those times. The Umezu Family has a both heart breaking and inspiring story to tell. This stunning land holds a special place in their hearts as it was the location of their last trip as a family of four. After their beloved youngest, Charlotte, passed away a year ago, the incredibly strong Minnesota family returned here to gather on the stunning shore and pay tribute to a life taken too soon. Though young Charlotte had fought a tough battle since the day she was born, she is at peace now while her spirit lives on in those that love her. To honor the journey they have all been on, the Umezu Family founded the non-profit, seizeyourjoy.org, and is now helping others benefit from the lessons they’ve learned and, most importantly, spreading the joy for life to everyone they meet. That dedication to finding happiness and being there for those facing difficult times is what allows this tireless trio to carry on in t
